How do I know my ring size?

If you have an existing ring that fits your desired finger, simply measure the ring’s diameter, then use our ring sizing chart to find your size.

If not, then measure your desired ring finger.

Step 1:
Cut a strip of paper and wrap it around your finger, just above your knuckle, and use a pen to mark the point where the two ends meet.

Step 2:
Unwrap the strip of paper and measure from one mark to the other to figure out the circumference of your finger, and therefore your ring size.

Step 3:
Check our ring sizing chart to find your ideal size.

What metals and materials do you use?

We use only the highest-quality finishes: 14k gold filled, 14k rose gold filled, and sterling silver.

Are most of your materials recycled + ethically sourced?

Yes. Loops uses only the highest quality materials and sustainably-sourced recycled metals and gemstones.

I advocate for true sustainability and transparency around our choices and how those choices impact the environment and people around us. Our sources for metals and gemstones are all traceable, and are clear about traceability.

For our suppliers, ethical sourcing is a shared guiding principle for our businesses. All metals are either recycled or sourced from refiners on the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) list. That means that all refiners must be in good legal standing, and must certify (and be independently audited) to have traceable supplies that are 100% conflict free.

What does ‘gold-filled’ or ‘rose gold-filled’ mean?

“Gold-filled” doesn’t mean the jewellery is actually filled with gold.

It’s actually an age-old phrase used in the jewellery trade, and it’s what we use to describe our 14k gold and rose gold jewellery. A quality designation tightly regulated by the FTC, it specifies that in order for a piece of jewellery to merit a gold-filled (GF) stamp, the piece must have a gold layer (min 10-karat) mechanically applied to a base metal. In addition, the 14 karat gold layer must be at least 5% of the jewellery piece’s total weight.

All of our gold-filled products have a 14-karat gold or rose gold layer and meet all industry standards for high quality and flawless process.

Advantages of gold-filled metals: They’re tarnish-resistant and don’t rub off or turn different colours. 14k gold where it matters at an affordable price.

I have sensitive ears. Can I wear gold-filled jewellery?

Yes, if you can wear 14k gold, then you can wear 14k gold fill.

How do I properly care for my jewellery?

Here are the best ways you can keep your jewellery looking as new as the day you first got it.

  • Minimize tarnishing and oxidization by storing jewellery in a cool, dark place, such as your jewellery box

  • Try to avoid exposing your jewellery to perfumes, body lotions, and moisture in general.

  • Moisture can speed tarnishing, so always remove your jewellery before you shower, bathe, exercise, or swim.

  • Keep it sparkly by regularly wiping it down with a soft polishing cloth.
