Hi. I’m Jill.
As a teacher married to a golf pro, my summer holidays always took me to the links. With plenty of down time, I would sit on the patio of the clubhouse making earrings and necklaces while hubby practiced. So, in between “loopin’ it”, which refers to caddying on the golf course, I returned to my love of creating and a hobby that started when I was young – jewelry making. That’s how Loops came to be.
Middle school teacher, mom, and jeweller.
Now I’m able to put into action what others told me for a long time: “you should really sell your jewellery.” I used to teach in a middle school, but I left that career for the time being. I have two children, so I decided to stay at home and be Mom for now and fit in jewellery making while they’re at school or after they’ve gone to sleep!
